VaultKey is a privacy-first password manager designed to store and protect your sensitive information directly on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how VaultKey handles your data.
VaultKey does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data from users.

Biometric data
All information entered into VaultKey remains stored locally on the user’s device only.
VaultKey stores user-entered credentials locally on the device using encrypted storage.
The app uses the Android Keystore System to securely protect encryption keys.
All vault data is encrypted before being written to storage.
VaultKey does not upload or sync data to any servers or cloud services.
VaultKey supports biometric authentication to unlock the password vault.
Authentication is handled through the Android system using the Android BiometricPrompt API.
Important notes:
VaultKey does not access or store biometric data.
Biometric information (such as fingerprint or face recognition) is securely managed by the Android operating system.
The App only receives confirmation of successful authentication.
VaultKey is designed to function fully offline.
The App does not require internet connectivity and does not transmit any user data externally.
VaultKey uses modern security practices to protect user data, including:
Strong encryption of stored vault data

Biometric or device authentication required before vault access
Despite these protections, users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device.
VaultKey does not integrate with third-party services, including:

No third-party libraries collect user data.
